ENLACE WORKS WITH CHURCHES TO CREATE LONG-TERM SOLUTIONS TO MULTIDIMENSIONAL POVERTY. THIS IS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR ENCOURAGEMENT, FELLOWSHIP, AND LEARNING AS YOU WORK ALONGSIDE CHRISTIANS TRANSFORMING THEIR OWN COMMUNITIES.
The Enlace Encounter Team offers an experience of how local churches work within their communities to effect long-term solutions.
As a part of this team, you will…
Learn how Enlace is working to restore relationships between churches and their communities.
Interact with a local pastor, church, and visit their community in El Salvador.
Provide encouragement to and fellowship with the local church as they seek lasting change.
Serve alongside the church and community members in the project they have prioritized and planned.
This Encounter Team will help you develop a curiosity for all people and their stories, it will position you beside people whose lives are different than your own, and it will challenge you to see how the church can partner with local communities to effect lasting change.

Location
We will spend our time in beautiful El Salvador! You will need a current passport for international travel.

Preparation:
Four Sessions prior to travel, Sundays in February
Travel:

Debrief:
One Session after travel (TBD)
Cost
$1700/person
(includes airfare, lodging, and most meals)
We’ll guide you through the fundraising process as part of the team preparation
