WHAT'S AHEAD GATHERING
You are invited to our first ever What’s Ahead Gathering as we celebrate what God has done through last year’s What’s Ahead Giving, and share vision for where we sense God is leading our church in 2027! This gathering is for everyone who participates in financial giving in our church, and anyone who calls Port City Community Church home. It is ideal for high school age and up and no childcare will be provided.
What’s Ahead Giving is a rhythmic opportunity for our church to come together as we look forward to where God is leading us, and leverage our collective financial generosity to help set the pace of our church in the year ahead! We believe this gathering will be an important moment to bring unity in our direction, and clarity to how we can each participate in what God is doing in and through our church.

MY ONE WORD
Choosing a single word for the year provides us with a way to focus and a lens to notice God working on our heart and character.
Picking a One Word is easy, but walking through this process of discovery is important. Here you’ll find some steps to help you through the discovery process.
Slowing down to consider each step will prepare us for the journey ahead and allow us to move into the future with greater confidence.
If you already have your word for 2026, we encourage you to not rush past this exercise - it will help you better articulate why you choose it and reorient your focus. When you’re ready, share it with us!

We are so excited for you to join us on an upcoming Encounter the City tour! Our heart for this 4-hour encounter experience is to enter into Wilmington as students together, learning who our city is and what is truly happening in our community!
The tour will begin at 10am (departing from Port City) and release at 2pm! We can't wait to see you!

Families with kids in Grown Zone and/or Treasure Island, join us for CONNECT! This is a meaningful and relaxed time where kids get time to play and enjoy a treat, while parents connect and recharge with coffee and conversation. Whether you’re meeting someone new or deepening a friendship that’s already begun, CONNECT is about creating a space for real conversations and growing together as a community.
Join us from 10-10:45am in the Studio 3 Loading Docks!

A rhythmic prayer practice for our church to reflect on and respond to where God is leading us in our walks with Him, both collectively and individually. We will be using what we are learning in our May Sunday Series on the Holy Spirit to guide our time, and, weather permitting, will be outside on our Prayer Path.
Plan on a 30-45 minute window anytime between 6am & 6pm.

PORT CITY 101
Curious about Port City Church? Have you been coming for a while and now you are looking to get more connected? Are you new and wondering if this is the place for you? Port City 101 is the best place to start!
You’ll get to meet some staff, learn about groups, the various ministries here at the church and in our community, and get to know other people who are looking to connect at Port City as well. Most importantly, Port City 101 is a place where we get to come alongside you in your walk with God. We would love to have you join us!
PORT CITY PODCAST
Did you know we have a podcast? This is a place where you can find all of our Sunday teaching content, as well as a place to find additional conversations and resources to help encourage you in your walk with God!
ENCOUNTER THE CITY
Once a month, we host a 4 hour immersive tour of Wilmington with the intent of being students of our city and its needs. From visiting multiple neighborhoods, eating an authentic meal from a non-western restaurant, and meeting with local partners, our 'Encounter the City' tour creates space for encounters that we hope will change the way we see Wilmington and our role in bringing the Gospel to bear in it. It is a short, but truly impactful experience! Register below to see available dates!
FUSE CAMP 2025
Learn why FUSE, our annual Middle & High School Camp, is one of the highlights of our entire year!
PARENT CONNECT
We would love for you to join us for Port City Kids CONNECT on the first Sunday of every month!
CONNECT is a space for parents to connect with other parents in the same season of life. Join us in the grassy area outside Studio 3 anytime between 10 and 11 on the first Sunday of EVERY month!
Coffee is provided for parents as well as games and a yummy treat for the kids! Registration is not required, simply show up and CONNECT!
CONNECT GROUPS
At Port City, we believe that community is essential!
That’s why we organize groups to help you find a welcoming place to build community around the person of Jesus! Our Connect Groups are designed for you to jump in, find community, and be encouraged in your walk.
WEEKDAY DEVOTIONS
Throughout the year, our staff creates weekday devotions to help encourage you in your personal walk with God. You can have these devotions delivered directly to your inbox!
SERVE TOGETHER
We want to be a people that are active in serving within our church & throughout our city! Serving is simply offering ourselves to another for their good and the good of the world around us.
