MY ONE WORD
Choosing a single word for the year provides us with a way to focus and a lens to notice God working on our heart and character.
Picking a One Word is easy, but walking through this process of discovery is important. Here you’ll find some steps to help you through the discovery process.
Slowing down to consider each step will prepare us for the journey ahead and allow us to move into the future with greater confidence.
If you already have your word for 2026, we encourage you to not rush past this exercise - it will help you better articulate why you choose it and reorient your focus. When you’re ready, share it with us!

A 4 hour tour of Wilmington where we seek to be learners in our city, exploring its various neighborhoods, needs, and opportunities.
Our heart for this encounter experience is to enter into Wilmington as students together, learning who our city is and what is truly happening in our community.
The tour begins at 10am and will release at 2pm.

Have you been coming to Port City for a while and now you are looking to get more connected? Are you new and wondering if this is place for you?
Port City 101 is the best place to start!
At 101, you’ll get to meet staff and volunteers, learn about Port City Groups, various ministries in our church and community, and get to know others who are looking to connect at Port City as well. We would love to have you at our next 101- you can register here!
We recommend that you attend the 9am gathering so you can join us at 101 at 10:30am. If you have children who are birth through 5th grade, they are welcome to attend one of our Kids Ministries while you attend 101. -
We are so excited about the 2026 Daddy-Daughter Dance! This is an incredible night for Dads and Daughters to build meaningful memories together!
Dads and daughters of all ages are welcome. We’ll have light snacks, a “color & chill zone” (with coffee for dads), and so many photo opportunities! It’s a night you won’t soon forget!
This year’s dance will be on Friday, February 27th from 6:30-8:30pm at our Wilmington Campus (250 Vision Drive). We’ll have early admittance at 6 for preschoolers. The cost is $25 per family.

A shuttle bus tour that offers insight to our city’s holistic history, connecting the past with the present.
The the tours will take place on February 14, 21, and 28 at 9 am.

Middle & high schoolers! It’s time to secure your spot for FUSE 2026!

Ash Wednesday Prayer will be a space for our church family to practice intentional, introspective, guided prayer as we mark the beginning of Lent and begin preparing our hearts for Easter!
We will open up our Main Auditorium and provide a prayer guide to lead you through a time of listening prayer, reading scriptures, confession, gratitude, and a prayer for guidance.Drop in anytime between 6am and 6pm.

For Grow Zone and Treasure Island families: Join us at Mess Hall in downtown Wilmington to meet other church families, grab a burger and build community.
Anytime from 11am - 1pm.

The Legacy program is a three week class designed for first time parents of children birth to two years old. In this class, we’ll talk through several important concepts as you embark on the journey of walking alongside your children to develop a lifelong relationship with God.
At the end of the program, we’ll celebrate with our church family in a special time of prayer to mark the moment that you have made to raise your children to know and love our awesome God.

All parents are welcome to join us for a 5 week study on the book Love Like You Mean It by Bob Lepine.
This book gives husbands and wives a biblical understanding of what real love looks like in marriage by unpacking the ten attributes of genuine love listed in 1 Corinthians 13. It reminds husbands and wives that it’s not primarily emotions that define marital love, but actions and decisions that fuel emotions and cause marital love to grow.
These are questions that are best answered in community so join us as a couple, an individual parent, a single parent, or even as a grandparent that is stepping into the role of a care giver as we learn together!During the 9am gathering.

Did you know we have a podcast? This is a place where you can find all of our Sunday teaching content, as well as a place to find additional conversations and resources to help encourage you in your walk with God!
ENCOUNTER THE CITY
Once a month, we host a 4 hour immersive tour of Wilmington with the intent of being students of our city and its needs. From visiting multiple neighborhoods, eating an authentic meal from a non-western restaurant, and meeting with local partners, our 'Encounter the City' tour creates space for encounters that we hope will change the way we see Wilmington and our role in bringing the Gospel to bear in it. It is a short, but truly impactful experience! Register below to see available dates!
FUSE CAMP 2025
Learn why FUSE, our annual Middle & High School Camp, is one of the highlights of our entire year!
PARENT CONNECT
We would love for you to join us for Port City Kids CONNECT on the first Sunday of every month!
CONNECT is a space for parents to connect with other parents in the same season of life. Join us in the grassy area outside Studio 3 anytime between 10 and 11 on the first Sunday of EVERY month!
Coffee is provided for parents as well as games and a yummy treat for the kids! Registration is not required, simply show up and CONNECT!
CONNECT GROUPS
At Port City, we believe that community is essential!
That’s why we organize groups to help you find a welcoming place to build community around the person of Jesus! Our Connect Groups are designed for you to jump in, find community, and be encouraged in your walk.
WEEKDAY DEVOTIONS
Throughout the year, our staff creates weekday devotions to help encourage you in your personal walk with God. You can have these devotions delivered directly to your inbox!

We want to be a people that are active in serving within our church & throughout our city! Serving is simply offering ourselves to another for their good and the good of the world around us.
