The Lighthouse Encounter Team serves families impacted by childhood cancer so that they experience rest and hope in God.
Lighthouse Family Retreat strengthens families impacted by childhood cancer by hosting retreats to provide deep rest, relational connection, and helpful resources — all so they can find & experience hope in God.
As a part of this team, you will…
Reflect the love of God through your presence and hospitality by helping with meals & creating welcoming environments.
Facilitate daily children’s & student activities while parents are in a small group.
Build friendships—whether that’s at the pool, over a game of 9 Square, or just sharing stories and laughter throughout the day.
This Encounter Team will help you experience the value of hospitality as you serve these families and hear their stories. It will provide the space for you to serve as a family and be a tangible expression of the love and hope we have in Christ.

Location
We will spend our time in the Coastal Carolinas (specific location to be announced in 2026)! Each family will provide their own transportation to and from the retreat location.
