Evelyn

She's a rising 4th grader that enjoys all things art, drawing, and making friendship bracelets. Evelyn is incredibly creative and wants to be an artist in the future!

When asked about her favorite parts of Freedom School, it was clear its hard for Evelyn to choose!

"[I like the] Good Morning chant because of all the different languages. I like all the books I get to read at Freedom School," said Evelyn. "Everything. Specifically cooking class, the burritos were really cool last year, and I am excited to try again this year."

"Evelyn is the sweetest Scholar, she is always willing to participate and work with other Scholars. She always has something to add to all of our discussions and activities," said her Servant Leader Intern, Ms. Kaiya.

"Ms. Kaiya has helped me with my reading and she makes it really fun. She doesn’t pressure us to answer questions if we aren’t sure, and she will give us time to think about it and she will come back to us," added Evelyn.
