Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Looking to jump into a group?

We offer a variety of Connect Groups, Study Groups, and Care Groups that you can join:

CONNECT GROUPS

Groups designed for you to jump in, find community, and be encouraged in your walk. You can come and go throughout the semester!

STUDY GROUPS

These groups work through specific Bible studies or topics to help you walk with God and grow in community.

CARE GROUPS

Groups that focus on specific care needs like grief, trauma, addiction, etc., to help you find hope and healing in community.

All of these groups tend to run for 8-16 weeks. Some of them require registration, while others you can join at any time.

Looking for a more long-term group?

Home Groups are committed groups that often meet around a meal or in a living room.

Part of being in a Home Group is being actively present in one another’s lives and committing to showing up for your group. People want to see you! We also encourage Home Groups to look for ways to invest in each other and the community outside of group time.

In order to get started in a Home Group, we ask that you participate in two events to help you decide if now is the right time to join a Home Group.

STEP ONE

Attend Port City 101

This will help you gain an understanding of the church as a whole.

Come find out how groups play a role in the big picture of the church and learn which type of group is best for you. If you’ve already been to Port City 101, keep moving to the next step!

STEP TWO

Attend Group Connection

After Port City 101, we invite you to join us for Group Connection: a one-time gathering designed for us to get to know you a little deeper and help you personally find a group.

This gathering is offered three times a year and is available once you attend Port City 101.
