PARKING LOT PARTY:
FUSE TAKEOVER
On Sunday, April 28th, 5:00 - 7:00pm, you are invited to join us for a a FUSE Takeover of our Parking Lot Party!
If you’ve been around Port City over the past few years, you know one of our favorite community events is to host a party in our Wilmington campus parking lot!
On Sunday, April 28th, our Student Ministry Team, along with students from our church, will be providing hot dogs, hamburgers, baked potatoes, chips, drinks, and a few other items for dinner with the proceeds to help offer an incredible FUSE Camp experience this summer!
We’ll also have all the normal fun that a parking lot party brings, including music, inflatables, games, and a few fun events that our students will lead.
Additionally, we’ll have a silent auction and a corn-hole tournament for those who want to compete.
This will be another great night for our community & give you an opportunity to support our student ministry and their most impactful event of the year… FUSE CAMP!
So mark your calendars, invite your friends, and we’ll look forward to seeing you at the Fuse Takeover Parking Lot Party!
PORT CITY 101
Curious about Port City Church? Have you been coming for a while and now you are looking to get more connected? Are you new and wondering if this is the place for you? Port City 101 is the best place to start!
You’ll get to meet some staff, learn about groups, the various ministries here at the church and in our community, and get to know other people who are looking to connect at Port City as well. Most importantly, Port City 101 is a place where we get to come alongside you in your walk with God. We would love to have you join us!
CONNECT GROUPS
At Port City, we believe that community is essential!
That’s why we organize groups to help you find a welcoming place to build community around the person of Jesus! We have several different kinds of groups, including Home Groups, Connect Groups, Study Groups, and Care Groups.
Our Connect Groups are designed for you to jump in, find community, and be encouraged in your walk.
FUSE CAMP
REGISTRATION CLOSES MAY 19TH
This year is our 15th Anniversary of FUSE Camp — an environment where middle school and high school students can step back from the stress of today’s world and focus on their relationship with God.
In the past 14 years, we’ve invested in over 5300 students, and over 1200 adult volunteers have joined with us to make this possible!! Whether it’s through a challenging message, honest worship, real community, or the best games, we know that God uses camp to do something big in the lives of everyone who goes.
We believe that Jesus changes everything and FUSE is created to be a place where students can encounter that truth!

HIGH SCHOOL CAMP: JUNE 22-26
“BE THE CHURCH”
Port City Kids desires to help our kids and families develop a heart for others by providing opportunities to serve in their homes, neighborhoods, and cities. It doesn’t matter if you’re big or small, young or old; YOU can be the Church. YOU can love others, and YOU can put your faith into action. There are plenty of places where your family can jump in and make an impact, so the button below to learn more about “Be The Church” opportunities at your local campus.
Talk it over with your kids, and then sign up for a date. Families can serve once a month, once a week, or multiple times - whatever works best for your family.
We want to invite everyone to take a step. We hope that throughout the month of April your family will see more of what God is doing in our community and find ways that you can regularly step into the work that He is doing!
PORT CITY KIDS CAMP
Registration for our summer camp has closed. If you have questions, please feel free to reach out at kids@portcitychurch.org.
Camp is for current 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders and is June 17th to June 21st. This year, we will be taking our kids to Chowan University in Murfreesboro, North Carolina, for a week of fun, community, and worshipping God!
For those who have signed up for camp, we will be emailing next steps in the coming weeks — stay tuned!
PORT CITY KIDS CONNECT
We would love for you to join us for Port City Kids CONNECT on the last Sunday of every month!
CONNECT is a space for parents to connect with other parents in the same season of life. Join us in the grassy area outside Studio 3 anytime between 10 and 11 on the last Sunday of EVERY month!
Coffee is provided for parents as well as games and a yummy treat for the kids! Registration is not required, simply show up and CONNECT!
HOPEFUL PARENTS GROUP
We will have monthly gatherings to equip and encourage parents when it comes to leading and influencing their young adult and adult children. These gatherings will be on Sunday mornings from 10:30 AM - Noon on our Wilmington campus. Our next gathering will be on April 28th Click below to learn more!
Building Update
Due to a pipe burst overnight in late February, about 25,000 square feet of our Wilmington Campus experienced flooding that caused significant damage to our GrowZone classrooms.
In order to adapt for this season, here are a few updates for you to know:
🚙 Parking around Studio 3 will be prioritized for Children's Ministry families.
🖍️ Kindergarten-5th grade kids will meet in Studio 3.
🚼 Birth-PreK kids will meet in the Treasure Island Auditorium.
THE WALKING TOGETHER COLLECTION
Port City Kids is excited to share the release of our second book, The Unexpected Summer, in a seven-book collection titled Walking Together.
The collection is designed to help children process common yet difficult topics alongside their parents. We see these books as tools to help families have meaningful and hopeful conversations, whether those circumstances are happening for them personally or if they are being experienced by a friend, family member, or even a neighbor.
