After he collects his high school diploma, he will attend Cape Fear Community College for HVAC. He enjoys riding dirt bikes and sees himself driving trucks in the future!

His desire to be behind the wheel is one of his most memorable parts of his journey; Anthony says it’s a goal that felt far away early in his high school career.

“Getting my driver’s license because I thought it was going to be harder to get them, so I kept pushing it back," said Anthony.

“Anthony is very mature and does not hesitate to correct his peers. He is respectful, quiet, and completes his work. I am confident that Anthony will be successful in the HVAC program and in life. His positive attitude will definitely be beneficial for him as he moves forward. Your attitude determines your direction,” said his CIS Student Support Specialist, Anesha Watkins.

“I will remember how Ms. Anesha helps me and gave me advice. I’ll remember spending time in her office,” added Anthony.
