Luis enjoys wrestling, eating, and going outside. After high school, he will attend Cape Fear Community College to take part in their Electrical Lineworker Training Program, helping keep the community’s lights on!

Luis says his favorite parts of meetings with his CIS staff member Kyle Devlin were the snacks and the support.

“He was always willing to help me, even if he didn't understand the work given,” said Luis, “supporting me when I needed help or just a person to talk to.”

“Luis worked so hard in the classroom to gain enough credits to graduate a year early. He is classified as a Jr., but with his hard work and relentless drive he will be graduating early. He not only grew in the classroom, but he grew and earned himself a starting spot on the wrestling team where he had a stellar season. I'm very proud of all his accomplishments,” said Mr. Devlin.
